I was getting a little worried that I was the only one slotted. Are you all prior service or are you all going to BCT? I will be attending BCT in OCT and then straight to OCS right after.

Hey guys! I just got slotted for this class from Atlanta. BCT starts October 16 and then January 22 OCS begins for me. Just glad to catch up since I was supposed to be selected in July but a waiver delayed me until the August board approvals.

I am currently on Holiday Break Leave from BCT at Fort Benning, Georgia. BCT officially started on October 25th. There are 199 trainees in our cycle, and about half of our company are O9Ss. We will graduate on January 18th and immediately begin OCS on the 22nd. I am looking forward to meet other candidates who aren't part of our Basic Training experience.

Someone posted their class started with 160 just this week. My company at Jackson only has two 09S's.

Has any college opts received their Secret Clearance yet? Mines been going on for a little over three months and is still pending. My references haven't even been contacted yet. Recruiter said the investigators are backlogged.

More than likely, our class will be hovering around 160. To all my 09S brothers and sisters, make sure you keep your PT score up. From everything I have read on this forum and those who I have spoke to that are currently in OCS, this is the main discriminator for you classing up on time.
